Moody Heating & Air Conditioning was founded in 1989 by the Moody family with a single truck and a vision: to provide honest, reliable HVAC service to the Rome community. David, a lifelong HVAC professional, and his wife Barbara built the company on a simple principle—treat people right and success will follow.

Over the years, Moody Heating & Air Conditioning earned a reputation for putting relationships and trust above anything else. What started as a one-man operation grew into Rome's most respected HVAC company, thanks to the Moody's commitment to doing the right thing—always.

In 2024, after decades of service, the Moody's felt it was time to turn the keys of the business over to a new owner. But the Moody's were not looking to sell to just anyone—they wanted someone who shared their values and was going to continue taking care of their people and community. That's when the Moody's met Houston Hollis.

Houston, raised in a family of small business owners, shares David's passion for people and service. In 2024, Houston and his wife Whitney took over the company and made Rome their home, living just 10 minutes from the office. Shortly after moving to Rome, Houston and Whitney welcomed their son Hampton to their lives and the Rome community.

Today, Houston uses the same key that David gave him to open the company doors every day. The Hollis family is all in on continuing the legacy the Moody's started and taking the company to the next level—serving customers with honesty, reliability, and care.
